Think about it: when all the t-top Z cars are leaking from the roof, the slicktop will be running without the same problems. You may view the slicktop as a base model, as it was in the US, but in other countries (Japan, Canada) the slicktop was made as a TT and is typically highly coveted in this form, as enthusiasts view it as the lightest. The most common seem to be the 2+2 twin turbos, which are much heavier and the rear seats serve little purpose. I think if any Z receives a chuckle, it will be the t-top. I can picture our kids saying, "Wow, that's so ancient," and us responding, "It was so cool back then." Time will surely tell.
